Talk about a room with a view, We were contracted to remove and replace this face brick that had shifted. Once we opened the wall it was clear that the backup CMU had become a hazard and had to be taken down and rebuilt also.

This flashing and weeping system is installed on the backup block to shed any water that penetrates the face brick
While we were working another contractor was in the process of re-pointing the Washington Monument look closley you can see it wrapped with scaffold, (the one that got away)
